I was in Europe for two weeks. Since it’s Inktober I thought I’d start my first post back on my site as lucky No. 13. Nothing fancy here! Just an brush pen drawing with some photoshop washes. Easy peasy.

I’ve been super busy lately. I took a little break from posting yesterday and it was nice. I did start something, but didn’t end up finishing it. I had a doctors appointment which took half the day and after it was over I was just not into doing anything. I do however have a lot of sketches in my book. So here is a little compilation of doodles from a page. Some good, some bad, some meh. Just keep drawing just keep drawing, drawing drawing drawing.

Mermaid maladies and other deformities. Fish Biscuits could have friends… but she’s generally less attractive than they are, except maybe Sea Pig.
Quick quick quick, and weird. I just scribbled through this for a different style. She kind of looks like this girl Laura I know, so that’s awkward. I wonder if she’ll recognize herself.
Anyway, moon jellyfish are a pretty neat sea creature so I featured some. Did you know there is a species of Jellyfish nicknamed the Immortal Jellyfish? It lives in the Mediterranean sea and off the coast of Japan. The reason it is thusly name is that the Turritopsis dohrnii will, in times of crisis, illness or old age, revert back to a polyp (science speak for babeh jellyfish). It is the only know creature on earth that can do this neato hat trick. It can vacillate between adult and baby forever. Unless it gets eaten, there’s no coming back from that.
Here’s more information on the little guy if you’re interested! Sort of makes me wish I remembered the Immortal Jellyfish before I started this, they’re way cooler than Moon Jellies… but they’re also TINY.
